One Blue Eye: Case Study

Born from a burning need to do something positive with the microplastics washed up on our Cornish shores, One Blue Eye collects, processes and transforms unwanted plastics that might otherwise linger in our oceans into whole new objects. 

Led by Founder Matt Nott, One Blue Eye's mission is to create high-quality, sustainable products that reflect a deep connection to the ocean and a commitment to preserving it. Made from plastic provided either by public donation or beach cleans, One Blue Eye then grinds it up, and processes it at high temperature to create a range of products, from hand planes to plant pots, hair accessories to surf trophies.
